Bolas para o chão

For our juggling project, choosing the right props makes all the difference. Until now, we had been using old balls of various models, some even made by us, but we were searching for something that truly aligned with what we wanted to explore. After a lot of research, we began collaborating with JuggleQuip, whose balls have characteristics that seem ideal for working on the ground. Recently, we shared an article and video on their website to showcase this choice in more detail.

What we look for in balls for our project

For us, our tools are more than just equipment; they directly influence our choices and expression on stage. In our process, where the ground and physical contact play a central role, we look for balls that allow fluid movement and good control on different surfaces. The Infinities from JuggleQuip caught our attention for their customization options: having the freedom to select specific weights and sizes for what we want to create is invaluable.

This collaboration is not just about having functional balls; it’s about finding a material that expands possibilities and supports the narrative we want to build through movement. With the Infinities, we’re taking a new step in how we use juggling to tell stories and explore spaces.

Article and video on JuggleQuip’s site: Our experience with Infinities

As the first step of this partnership, we published an article and a video on the JuggleQuip website to share our initial impressions of the Infinities. In the video, we captured some experimental moments, showing how the Infinities behave in our hands and on the ground, highlighting the versatility these balls bring to our work.

This collaboration is an invitation to explore, not just for us but for everyone who follows along, representing new possibilities in our journey with juggling.
